His writing style is known for its creative takes on flawed heroes and spinning fantasy tropes in interesting ways, drawing a huge fanbase. He is also a black belt holder and in his free time, enjoys Marvel comics, magical and mythological topics and can usually be found typing away in coffee shops. Shayne currently lives in Missouri with his family. After college, he worked on a farm in Colorado and wrote his debut novel, ‘Obsidian Son’, initiating the Temple Chronicles series. His works were influenced by such great authors as Terry Goodkind and Robert Jordan, driving him to come up with his own characters, stories and universes. Growing up, Shayne Silvers was an avid reader and his passion for books was only strengthened when he won an award for a short story he wrote in fourth grade.
